| David McJonathan-Swarm, Edgar's partner, beginning in the mid 1960's, was often a model for experimental photography by Edgar as Bob had been for many years before him. This photograph was taken in front of the World Trade Tower when it was under construction in 1969. Soft focus was something for which Edgar was know from the early years. Sokolsky said his "first attempts at photography used a lot of diffusion, in imitation of the Tissot-like effects favored by de Evia." By the time this photograph was taken, Edgar had perfected a technique using fixed glass slides with which he could obtain a predictable result. |
